Planning Issues
West Byfleet Neighbourhood Forum has had a successful drop in all on the website. Tie in completely with the survey that Gary did. Top of the list is Sheer House and then traffic. We as an association need to develop a plan for the forum. The business is the life blood to the village. Roland thinks that a survey/questionnaire needs to be circulated with regards our thoughts with the village. The sub committee will devise a questionnaire. 61 out of 80 shops have closed down in 9 years.

E-Magazine
John has been attending meetings for 5 years and has advertised West Byfleet marginally has a spare website for a e-magazine which is accessible via the associations’ website. For advertising the attendees. As a result of this association a lot has moved on. No-one is aware of the activities that this association does for the locality and needs to be made know. John wishes to create a library of information and wishes to create a magazine of things that need recorded via a database through this spare website. Sometime in the future to be held by the association. In the future wishes to work with Mark as to how this moves forward. John is giving the site free and just wishes to have the right to produce the articles in other magazines that he publishes. Re-launch for Surrey Means Business. Great relationship with the council as a result of this association. Everyone in favour and John and Mark were thanked gratefully. Pauline said this would be a great way to attract more businesses to the village. First issue likely to be mid September. Heather Forster celebrates 50 years this year so great timing.
