Welcome and apologies
PH welcomed everyone, especially Juliette Price who is starting up an Accountancy Practise. PH reported that apologies had been received from Richard Smith, Ron Enticott, Christine Osborne, Jessica Maybanks, Shani Orchard, Gary Elson.

Pauline introduced a new member to the WBBA – Juliette, a local accountant?
Matters arising
Accounts: were approved, although it has been noted that Pauline Hedges needs to submit an invoice for outstanding expenses.
West Byfleet LI:VE 25th – 26th July
Toilets have been booked an paid for; a committee meeting has been held; stalls are being booked there will be an application form uploaded on the website for stalls. Council permission has been granted and the field has been booked. Fire and safety plan is to be done. Noel volunteered to be on the Organising Committee.

Continues to be successful, the average visit is 1 min. 30 seconds. Many visits for Bakers!
Planning
Planning application for Globe House conversion to flats – Roland will enter objection online.
Swoon has applied to convert premises to a Patisserie – support application to be submitted (Ben from London House)
Woking Council Economic Development group will start to look at West Byfleet and wish to meet with the WBBA. Noel/Roland/Oliver volunteered. Suggested to ask Andy Davies.
Details of any new planning applications must be directed to Roland please.
Membership
Members have been invoiced and subscriptions have been paid.
A flyer will be prepared to issue to business – Committee to approve.
Chambers of Commerce
Independent Retailers Forum – very positive there were approximately 30 attendees
Mark Fuller and John Morrison will attend the next meeting.
Any other business
C.I.L to be circulated with the minutes. Roland to send a letter of support. This will be added to the website.
Woking Citizens Panel information will be circulated with the minutes
AGM – Preparation of this will be dealt with by Pauline and Catherine.
A letter is required to be sent to Surrey Highways Department regarding the potholes andr, Pauline will consult Christine Osbourne regarding the details.
Eikon received a £1500 donation from the Residents Association – Pauline will forward the information to Shani.
Chase Gary Elson with regards what is happening with the Christmas lights from Woking.
Ward boundaries are being changed to reduce the number of councillors.
West Byfleet Social Club were thanks for their hospitality and special thanks to Stella.
